She was also a friend of many here in Central Kentucky, where she lived and worked - and played, and danced, and sang - for several years. Some of us have just learned of her loss, and although years separated us, we always knew we had such a good friend across The Pond, and several of us connected with her whenever we were in England. She left a message for me when I was last there, staying in a small village near Bath: "Meet me at the high altar in Bath Abbey at twelve noon tomorrow".
